Confluence of European Waterbodies
GARN Europe actively supports and participates in the The Confluence of European Water Bodies. This confluence is founded as an interdisciplinary research, support system and campaign for the representation of water in Europe.

Tribunal for Aquatic Ecosystems
In 2021, the European Hub organised a regional tribunal for the rights of nature in Europe, with a special focus on defending the rights of aquatic ecosystems. Five verdicts were issued, for five diverse waterbodies in the region.

European Citizens' Initiative
The European Citizens’ Initiative on the Rights of Nature will call on the EU to legally recognise and protect the rights of ecosystems. This campaign empowers citizens to take part in shaping a future where nature is respected as a living community, not a resource.
